Do prices really renew at the same rate?

For standard extensions like .com, .net and .org, yes — one honest price. A few new extensions (.online, .shop, .site…) have a promotional first year and then renew at their standard rate. We always show the exact renewal price at checkout before you pay.

Is WHOIS privacy really free?

Yes. ID protection is included at no cost on every eligible domain, so your personal details never appear in the public WHOIS database. Some extensions (a few ccTLDs) don't support privacy — we'll tell you if that's the case.

Can I transfer a domain to (or away from) PapilioHost?

Both. Transferring in usually adds a free extra year. And there's no lock-in — if you ever want to leave, we release the EPP/auth code straight away, no hoops.

How fast is registration?

Instant for most extensions. As soon as your order is paid the domain is registered and DNS is ready to edit — usually within seconds.
